bulletsareextinct :

Top 5 EPs (Full list is here .) 1.Friendzone — “While U Wait” Rewrote how I thought about beatmaking and still impossibly gorgeous and impossibly next. 2. Aesop Rock + Homeboy Sandman — “Lice” Abstract genius on par with the cats on the album list, but in the service of bodying fools and affirming the weird life that chose you. 3. Cutters — “Both/Neither” Probably the punk band I’m most exhilirated by right now. Cathartic, shaking from the weight of the truth shit. 4. I Hate Sex — “Circle Thinking” Imagine if they took the dna of “Teenage Riot” by Sonic Youth and then mixed it with screamo, but not the slick kind… The kind that’s like when you get the metaphorical brick from the metaphorical Columbian Cartel. 5. Signor Benedick The Moor — “Opus 3: A Man Atop The Tower” Bedroom prog dioramas that somehow scale to the real thing + tightly wound, melodic art rap. The technology to fully clock “Dreams” will hopefully emerge during 2016.
